You may have heard the whispers and the rumors, and today we’re here to confirm: yes, it’s true! Lovebee is coming to Niagara-on-the-Lake in Summer of 2026!

This next exciting chapter in our story brings to reality the type of expansion we’ve envisioned for years — a chance to grow deeper roots in a community that celebrates connection, craftsmanship, and a more thoughtful way of living.

We’ve tangibly felt the love, encouragement, and excitement from so many of you as we’ve shared glimpses of what’s coming. Now, we’re thrilled to say that this long-awaited moment is finally taking shape.

Our new space will be nestled in a place that feels like home — a place where community, local makers and businesses, and meaningful experiences come together.

Clayfield Commons — Where It Is & Why It Matters

Clayfield Commons is a new, major, mixed-use development hub taking shape at the gateway entrance to Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, carefully and thoughtfully designed to be a vibrant centre for shopping, gathering, and community life.

Nestled among the Village Commercial Centre at 111 Garrison Village Drive, this inspiring project spans about eight acres and brings together a range of experiences — including retail (yay Lovebee!), hospitality, services, and public spaces — all in one walkable, pedestrian-friendly hub.

At the heart of Clayfield Commons is a vision for a place that feels like a destination. You’ll find:

  • A prestigious 102-room boutique hotel (Clayfield Hotel) as part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, designed to reflect the region’s unique spirit and heritage.
  • A ‘next-generation’ Foodland grocery store, boutique retail spaces, office spaces, a café, and restaurants that emphasize local entrepreneurship and creativity.
  • Thoughtfully designed public gathering spaces and a central outdoor square where neighbours and visitors can meet, linger, and experience community events and the local farmers’ market.

The development blends contemporary architectural form with village-inspired character, bringing new life to the area while honouring the charm and heritage of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

This isn’t just about retail or buildings — it’s about creating a place that supports connection, creativity, and meaningful everyday experiences.

One more thing to note at this time is that not all business have been revealed, and there is surely even more excitement to come as the date moves closer to opening!

Where Lovebee Came From, & How We Got Here

Before there was a storefront, before the shelves, the signs, and the products, there was family and a vision:

A belief that natural products could be made better — with integrity, patience, and heart — and that people would feel the difference.

Lovebee was built quietly and slowly, one small handcrafted batch at a time. One tent, one market table, one conversation and one customer who trusted us enough to come back.

From long days and late nights preparing for markets and events, to our first store on Jarvis Street in Fort Erie, Lovebee grew alongside our family — shaped by real life, real needs, and real solutions. We didn’t chase growth. We followed purpose.

As the years passed, something became clear: this wasn’t just a business anymore; it was becoming a community. A shared belief in slowing down, choosing better, and caring deeply — for both ourselves and for each other.

At the end of 2025 we started down the path to a new chapter — one in Ridgeway — and began work on a space that reflects who we are today, and where we’re heading next.

And now at the time of writing this, even as we prepare for the opening of our new flagship store in Ridgeway (yes, we’re technically opening two stores now at the same time), we’re honoured to share this new secret we’ve been keeping for some time!

Our second location at Clayfield Commons in Niagara-on-the-lake will be a place rooted in craftsmanship, connection, and community — surrounded by people and businesses who believe in building things thoughtfully and building them well.

This new space isn’t about just having a larger footprint — it’s about being deeper, more intentional, and more connected.

It’s about bringing Lovebee into a place where our values align with the land, the people, and the way things are built — where care is woven into everyday life, and where craftsmanship still matters.

And we’re building this together, as a family, as a team, and with every person who has supported us along the way.

From Fort Erie, to Ridgeway, to Niagara-on-the-Lake — this is growth shaped by heart.

Why Niagara-on-the-Lake?

On the surface, it’s an undeniably beautiful and prosperous place, and Niagara-on-the-Lake has always been a place where time feels different. It’s story and desirability goes even deeper however.

It’s a community built on continuity — where the old and the new carefully coexist. It’s a town where tradition and intention still guide how things are done. It’s a place where history is felt, not staged, and care shows up in the details. It’s a place that rewards patience, detail, and thoughtful design, and experiences are meant to be savoured rather than rushed.

There’s a deep respect for things made thoughtfully and built to last, whether that’s found in architecture, local food, small businesses, or the land itself.

That philosophy mirrors the way Lovebee has always approached what we do.

We believe in slowing down and choosing quality over convenience. In making things by hand, with intention, and trusting that people will feel the difference. Niagara-on-the-Lake isn’t just a beautiful destination — it’s a community that values the same principles we’ve quietly lived by from the very beginning.

This is a place where independent businesses are woven more carefully into daily life, not just tourism. Where local makers, growers, and artisans are supported. Where connection still matters — between people, between businesses, and between the past and what’s being built next.

For us, opening a store here isn’t about expansion for expansion’s sake. It’s about belonging. About placing Lovebee in a community where our values align with the pace of life, the respect for craft, and the care that goes into how things are made and shared.

Niagara-on-the-Lake feels like a natural continuation of our story — not a departure from it.

What WON’T Change At Lovebee

Even as Lovebee grows into new spaces, some things remain deeply constant.

We are still a family-run business, guided by the same hands, hearts, and people who have shaped Lovebee from the beginning. Decisions are still made thoughtfully, not quickly. Growth is still measured in care, not scale.

Our commitment to listening — truly listening — to our customers and our community hasn’t changed. The feedback, conversations, and real needs that shaped Lovebee in its earliest days continue to guide where we go next.

You’ll still find the same approach behind everything we do: honesty over hype, intention over trends, and a genuine respect for the people who trust us with the products they bring into their homes and onto their skin.

This next chapter is not about becoming something different; in fact it is largely the opposite! It’s about carrying what has always mattered into a new place — without losing the closeness, integrity, and connection that brought us here.
